Do not have Dysport treatments if you are allergic to Dysport or any of its ingredients, had an allergic reaction to any other botulinum toxin product, have a skin infection at the planned injection site, under 18 years of age, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor about any swallowing or breathing difficulties and muscle or nerve conditions.
Avoid herbal supplements such as Ginko, green tea and anti-inflammatories of any kind for one week before and following treatment to limit bruising.
-
Although office visits can vary, the procedure generally takes 10 to 20 minutes.
-
Do not participate in activities that include heavy lifting, vigorous exercise or straining for 2 hours.
Avoid irritating products for 24 hours following Dysport.
Bruising in the area injected can occur. Bruising can last up to several days and using Arnica or Alastin’s Post Injection Serum may help diminish bruising.
Though results vary, changes can be seen in as little as 24 hours, with over half of users seeing improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows within 2-3 days.
One treatment of Dysport can last 4 months on average.

You should not get Sculptra if you:
Have severe allergies with a history of severe reactions (anaphylaxis) or multiple severe allergies. Use of Sculptra may result in an allergic reaction.

You can expect the appointment to be about an hour and a half to two hours including numbing and massaging time.
As with any injection, to decrease pain during injection, a topical or a local anesthetic may be used when injecting Sculptra. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment to receive a topical numbing agent.
-
An ice pack should be applied to the treatment area to help reduce swelling unless otherwise directed by your healthcare professional.
As with any injectable wrinkle filler, you can expect injection-related side effects, such as bleeding, tenderness or pain/discomfort, redness, bruising or swelling. These side effects generally resolve within a few hours to a few days but could last for 14 days or longer.
Avoiding or minimizing strenuous exercise and exposure to extensive sun.
Our team should see you again 3-4 weeks after each treatment session to assess whether you need additional treatment.

Restylane products should not be used by people who:
Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 22 years of age.
Have recently used drugs that thin the blood or prevent clotting.
Have serious allergies to drugs that have previously required in-hospital treatment.
Have bleeding disorders.
Have a known allergy to lidocaine (Restylane-L, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Silk, Restylane Kysse, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Contour, and Restylane Eyelight all contain lidocaine. Restylane is the only product that does not contain lidocaine).

Although office visits can vary, the procedure generally takes 10 to 20 minutes.

Use cold compresses to reduce swelling.
If you have a history of cold sores, talk with your injector before your appointment about medications that may minimize the likelihood of an outbreak. Needle punctures to the lip may increase the likelihood of cold sore recurrence.
Avoid taking aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (such as ibuprofen), St. John's wort or high doses of vitamin E supplements. These agents may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
Minimize strenuous exercise and exposure to excessive heat, sun, or UV lamps for the first 24 hours after treatment. Exposure to any of these may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection site. Until there is no redness or swelling, avoid exposure of the treated area to intense cold or heat such as sun lamps or sunbathing.
